Registration & Payment Policy
All registrations must be accompanied by full payment within the same business week. Registrations submitted without payment will be voided if payment is not received by the end of the week. Attendees must re-register to secure a spot.
Refunds
Refunds for in-person trainings are 50% of the registration fee minus a $25 administrative fee. All refunds will also incur a 4% credit card processing fee. Cancellations within 72 hours of the training are non-refundable. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear. This policy helps BTS cover costs for materials, staff, and venue while providing some flexibility.
Live Webinar Refund Policy
BTS does not provide refunds for live webinars due to the following reasons:
- Attendee Technology Issues: Participants are responsible for testing their computer setup. Refunds will not be issued for issues at the attendee’s location. Refunds may be considered if issues occur on BTS’s end
- Email Delivery Issues: BTS is not responsible for bounced, blocked, or filtered emails. Attendees must contact us if login details are not received at least 24 hours before the webinar
- No Shows: Attendees who fail to log in and participate will not receive a refund or credit
No Shows / Missed Trainings
- If a registrant does not attend and does not notify BTS in advance, the registration fee is forfeited
- If a registrant notifies BTS at least 24 hours before the training that they cannot attend, BTS may allow a one-time transfer of registration to the next scheduled training of the same type (if offered)
- Transfers must be requested in writing via email to admin@bhamtherapyservices.com
- Failure to attend the rescheduled training will result in forfeiture of the registration fee
Cancellation Requests
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to admin@bhamtherapyservices.com. Failure to notify BTS will result in no refund or credit.
Cancellations by BTS
If BTS cancels a training, a full refund will be issued. BTS reserves the right to cancel events due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.
Postponements
If a training is postponed (e.g., presenter illness, emergencies), participants may:
- Attend the rescheduled date, or
- Transfer registration to another BTS training within six months
- No refunds will be issued for postponed events. If a training is not attended within six months, the registration is forfeited
Certificates
- In-person certificates are provided at the conclusion of the event
- Webinar certificates are emailed within 10 business days to the registration email
- Lost Certificates: $30 replacement fee via email
Additional Research Fee
If a participant requests verification of attendance but does not recall the date or title, BTS will conduct a search for an additional $20 fee, payable before the search begins.
Refusal of Service
BTS may deny access to any training or service without prior notice if participants violate policies, including but not limited to:
- Recording or photographing live trainings/webinars
- Distributing materials for commercial purposes or competing programs without permission
- BTS also reserves the right to deny CE credit or access if participant behavior violates NBCC ethical or reporting standards, including falsifying attendance or CE participation
Live Webinar CE Policy
BTS adheres to NBCC CE guidelines:
- CE hours are granted only for full participation. Partial attendance or failure to follow instructions disqualifies the participant from receiving credit
- Webinars are live and interactive. To earn CE hours, attendees must follow all sign-in instructions and actively communicate with the instructor. Logging in alone does not qualify
- Staff instructions are provided verbally and in writing in the chat. Proof of attendance via IP address or other means does not substitute for proper participation
On-Demand Training Policy
- Refunds: All sales for on-demand trainings are final. No refunds or credits will be issued once access has been granted
- Access Period: Registrants will have access to the course for 90 days from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified
- Extensions: Requests for additional access may be granted at BTS’s discretion for a $25 administrative fee
- Certificate of Completion: CE certificates will be issued only after the participant has:
- Viewing the full recording or modules in their entirety,
- Successfully passed the post-test with a score of 80% or higher, and
- Submitted the course evaluation. Certificates are emailed within 10 business days
- Technology Requirements: Participants are responsible for ensuring they have compatible internet, software, and devices to access the training. BTS is not responsible for technical incompatibility issues
- Prohibited Use: Downloading, recording, or redistributing on-demand training content is strictly prohibited
Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy
- All training materials, including slides, recordings, handouts, and supplementary resources, are the intellectual property of Birmingham Therapy Services (BTS) and/or the presenter
- These materials are provided solely for the personal, professional development of registered participants
- Unauthorized use is prohibited, including but not limited to:
- Copying, reproducing, or distributing materials to others without prior written consent
- Using BTS training materials to create derivative works, commercial products, or competing programs
- Recording or sharing on-demand content on social media, websites, or cloud storage platforms
- Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of access without refund, denial of CE credit, and potential legal action
ADA Accessibility Statement
BTS is committed to providing equal access to individuals with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Auxiliary aids and services will be provided unless it imposes an undue burden. Requests for accommodations must be submitted in writing to admin@bhamtherapyservices.com prior to the training. BTS will respond within one week.

BTS is solely responsible for all aspects of this program, including content and awarding NBCC-approved continuing education credit. CE credit is available only to participants who successfully complete all requirements as outlined above.
